As I've said about Groucho's in the past. I'm an Andy's man. Can't take anything from them on the fast friendly service, and the food is good (just not as good as Andy's). They don't have an Andy's in West Columbia, so Groucho's is king of this side of the bridge!

Came to Groucho's after a full year of living in Columbia.... yea do not wait a full year to come enjoy this place! The sandwiches are very good, and there is surprisingly a decent amount of variety on the menu (lots of good sandwich choices). Pretty well priced and great spot to stop in for a quick (like really quick!) and cheap lunch. What really got me about the Groucho's location on Sunset Blvd was the excellent service! My gf and I are northern transplants... we do not like tea that is too sweet. They let us know of the half and half option and checked with us to make sure that we liked it, along with the food of course. The reuben came pretty close to my beloved NY reuben. Whatever you decide to get try the 45 sauce, it is fantastic! Overall, great spot in the Columbia area.

Great sandwiches and famous for their homemade sauces. Love the Club with formula 45.

Our office orders lunch here a few times a month. We just love that if they say the order will be ready in 15 minutes, it's done in 15 minutes, other places have an issue for that. Anyway, the food. I love the STP dipper. It is a simple sandwich, but tastes so delicious. And the 45 sauce...best thing ever. Price wise, not too expensive, especially since this blows any other sub place out of the water in terms of taste and quality. Simply put, if you want a great sandwich come here and try the STP dipper, you will not be disappointed.

I love this place. I love this place. I love this place. Any of the Groucho's are awesome around town, none have the history like the 5 Points location, but who can get to 5 Points all the time for lunch? STP dipper, I get it on pumpernickel (because I rock) but they have a great assortment of breads. I could BATHE in the 45 sauce. I get a Dr. Brown Root Beer and when I'm finished I savor the wonderful Groucho's ice all afternoon. Get the Groucho's card and earn points toward free stuff. WHOOP! Super cool people, fast, delicious. GO EAT!!

I agree with Craig w. Sandwiches are small for $9. Me still hungery... I ate the stp dipper all turkey, good. What made it was the dip sauce that came with it. Would revisit and try other sandwiches.

Used to be a good deli(not this one),in Five Points. That all changed when the original owner died(God rest his soul),and they started the 'chains'.They've kept the original menu ,but forgotten how to make sandwiches. The Reubens was absolutely piled with...bread :-(. Go to the grocery store across the street and make your own... This might have shut down, hope so.Close 'em all down except the original, and pay respect to what was....making a great sandwich and salad!

Yoooo this place has bangin sandwiches, and great service. Oh and probably one of the best servers JC. She served up my delicious salami sandwich stacked with the finest slices of meat in all the land with a beautiful smile. The sweat tea was so refreshing and hit the spot after a long drive to this magical place of meat, cheese, and bread. If you are ever on sunset in Columbia, SC you need to eat here. Trust me you won't be disappointed and make sure you get that 45 sauce.

I had the Apollo Dipper today. It was a pretty good warm sandwich and the dipping sauce was better than I anticipated. The service was fast and friendly as well. On the negative side, I had checked the menu prior to coming and was really disappointed to find that they were out of pasta salad. If I knew it wasn't an option I may not have come. Also, there is a grocery store across the street. If they were running low on an ingredient, why couldn't they go buy some more? I give 4 stars, but I'm still disappointed.
